‘tintin’ is a Toshiba Satellite Pro 420CDT. Its spec is as follows:

P100 CPU, 40MB RAM, 1.2GB hard disk, CD-ROM. It is currently running Debian Linux (stable) and actually performing rather well. More info to come.
